WIIRED – Web-hosted Information to Improve Recruitment in Emergency Medicine – is a project aimed at simply making it easier for all clinical staff to identify patients eligible for research studies, and to get them enrolled into studies.

We hope that bringing all the relevant information, for all the studies each department is running, into one place will make it easier for staff to make enrollments happen

The fact is that all patients who get enrolled into a research study get better care. Even those who get randomised to ‘Usual Care’, get better usual care than those who are not enrolled into studies!
