Eligibility
For Patient age 16 years old above who received antibiotics for infection and will be admitted for at least 24hours

Inclusion Criteria:
- Participant is willing and able to give informed consent for participation in the study.
- Male or female, aged 18 years or older.
- eParticipants admitted to Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust with suspected infection.
- Received ≤24 hours of antibiotic treatment (IV or oral) as a hospital inpatient in the current admission
- Expected to remain in hospital until at least the following day, i.e., not planned for imminent discharge.
Exclusion Criteria:
- Known hypersensitivity or allergy to hydrogel dressings or skin adhesive (to avoid reactions to the dressings used to attach the wearable device)
- Known hypersensitivity or allergy to silicone (to avoid reactions to the wearable device)
- Previous enrolment into the study
If the patient is eligible:
- Gain verbal agreement in principle before proceeding. Explain:
- Inform the patient they may be eligible for a research study
- Taking part in research is likely to improve the quality of their care
- Risks are carefully controlled - research is safe
- Explain the uncertainty that exists with respect to treatment of their condition
- If they change their mind they can withdraw their participation at any point
